When I first came to the Orthospaceship for a consultation, I thought my teeth were realtively alright but needed minor adjustments. But after the entire experience I have learned a gread deal about oral heal and can see how much this change in my teeth was necessary. After having consulted two separate orthodontists who eath told me I would either need surgery or to have teeth removed, I was hesitant to even get braces. But Dr. Hakim's plan was specific to my personal orthodontic needs and was more intent on the improvement of the appearance of my smile. Throughout my treatment Dr. Hakim would take his time to make careful and customized adjustments to my hardware. Within the first two months I was already noticing a vast improvement in my smile. The office and front desk personnel are extremely organized and were quick and efficient to help me with any scheduling conflicts. The clinical crew members were always friendly and willing to answer any questions that I had. At all times I felt well taken care of. The Orthospaceship is an overall enjoyable experience and I honestly felt the appointments were over too soon.

Prior to rejoining the Orthospaceship team, I was constantly confronted with empty promises and extended treatment that truly made me loose my trust. Every orthodontist would either give me false dates or no dates at all. So, fed up with all this, I decided to come back to Dr. Hakim. It had been many years, but the second I got here I felt at home. I asked him straight. "How much longer will I have to bear the burden of braces?" He told me bluntly, "You can have them off in six months time." Immediately I started recognizing the other orthodontists' mistakes. I can only imagine how much more pleasant my whole braces experience could have been if I had spent the first two and a half years here, but regardless, he stayed true to his word. That is what made this so great.

Dr. Hakim is an awesome orthodontist. I was in so much pain from my jaw with TMJ. He gave me a splint to help out with the inflammation and was always available to see me and made time when I needed to come in and make adjustments as my bite changed and muscles relaxed, sometimes up to three times in one week. This really helped my healing move along faster. Now after having surgery and braces to realign my jaw I have almost no jaw pain at all. I was having daily constant migraines which completely went away after surgery. I highly recommend anyone to come see Dr. Hakim. He will take very good care of you. He was as concerned as a father to me and I owe him so much for greatly improving my quality of life. Please, if you have jaw pain and neck pain like I did, come and make an appointment to see Dr. Hakim. You won't regret it! He really cares about making you better and making your pain go away. Most doctors don't really appreciate the pain and really investigate the cause like he does. I have been seeing Dr. Hakim for five years and nearly three months and he has always been there for me.
